OnePlus 5T

OnePlus 5T smartphone was launch in November 2017. The phone comes with a 6.01-inch touchscreen display. With a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch. OnePlus 5T price in India starts from Rs. 32,999.

OnePlus  increase the size of the display on its core handset. Probably making the biggest screen on a handset from the Chinese firm.

While its size and aspect ratio may see the OnePlus 5T pull inline with the flagship handsets. Hence looking to topple, there is still one spec which denies it full membership of the high-end display club resolution.

The OnePlus 5T is power by 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras concern, the OnePlus 5T packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The OnePlus 5T continues with the premium metal unibody design of the phone it’s replacing. Consequently making it look good and feel great in the hand. With the gently-curving rear helping it nestle nicely into the palm.

Face recognition on the OnePlus 5T isn’t as advance as Apple’s offering. Therefore it’s still surprisingly good, using over 100 facial identifiers to check it is you. Its use only for unlocking the handset, and you need to double-tap the screen or press the power key to utilize it. So it is incredibly fast, with almost no delay between you tapping the screen or button and your home screen appearing before you.

Like the OnePlus 5 the OnePlus 5T comes with dual cameras on the rear, but it’s not an identical setup.The OnePlus 5T has a 16MP Sony Sensor and 20MP Sony sensor, both of which boast an increased aperture of f/1.7 for better low-light shots and the same focal length.

Runs Android 7.1.1 and is power by a 3300mAh non removable battery. It measures 156.10 x 75.00 x 7.30 and weigh 162.00 grams.

It also features OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology. Rather which claims to give you ‘a day’s power in half an hour’, which in reality means just under 60% in 30 minutes. There’s no wireless charging though.

The OnePlus 5T is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The phone has been rated as 8/10.
